Senior Software Developer

We are looking for a full-stack software engineer with strong analytical skills, willingness to learn and grow their skill set, and be comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment. We are looking for a team player with good interpersonal skills, preferably with prior startup experience.

You will be responsible for contributing to product architecture, feature design, and will be encouraged and supported in using best practices for building a quality product on a predictable schedule.

In this role, you will have a real opportunity to shape a new service, while being exposed to the latest technologies in agile, flexible, and fun work environment.

You are creative, resourceful, possess a strong sense of engineering quality and take pride in your code.

REQUIREMENTS

4-7 years experience with Ruby, Python, JavaScript or other object oriented programming language.

  • Experience building MVC web applications using Rails, Django, or similar web framework.
  • Experience building rich client side SaaS products with modern web technologies and tooling.
  • Strong working knowledge of designing relational data models and SQL using Postgres or similar DBMS
  • Experience building infrastructure-as-code cloud architecture on AWS/Azure/Google a plus
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to be strategic and roll up your sleeves to accomplish what needs to be done.
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Head of customer success

Requirements
  • Lead a world-class team: recruit, hire and develop experienced leaders and Customer Success Managers, improve on-boarding and training programs, foster a culture of collaboration, over-achievement, and continuous learning.
  • Manage customer success activities including: on-boarding, training, renewals, advocacy, up-sell/cross-sell
  • Be the voice of the customer and advocate for their needs to the implementation and product teams
  • Establish measurable criteria for success and assist in building organizational alignment
  • Perform ongoing analysis of customer engagement and take the necessary measures to increase product usage and adoption
  • Assist with testing new releases of our platform and provide ongoing feedback to engineering
  • Maintain detailed account of daily activity within CRM and other BrokerX systems
  • Host product demos and educate our customers on how best to use our products and get the most value
  • Highlight new product features and their business value to customers after each product release
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with multiple levels/roles of each customer (stakeholders and key users)
Desired skills and expertise
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an account management or customer success leadership position - software sales experience is desirable
  • Consistent track record of exceeding sales and / or retention quotas
  • Very high attention to detail and expert project management skills
  • Adept at problem solving and answering technical and non-technical questions
  • Strong presentation/demonstration skills, effectively works directly with customers and internal teams
  • Self-driven by customer outcomes
  • Excellent account management and customer relationship skills; ability to penetrate, grow and retain accounts, build relationships and quickly spot and communicate potential risks and issues
